What P0446 means
The vent valve lets fresh air into the charcoal canister so vapour can be drawn to the engine; the computer opens and closes it during self-tests. P0446 means that valve's circuit or operation is faulty — commonly a valve jammed by dust or spider webs (genuinely — the vent breathes outside air).
